Office Vision

Activate the role of scientific research and link it to existing industries in Matrouh Governorate in particular, and in Egypt and the world in general, and support trust between them to solve the problems facing the industrial sector. Support innovation and technology in priority areas according to Egypt Vision 2030, leading to entrepreneurship by developing existing industrial companies (Spin off) and establishing small and medium industries and startups.

Office Mission

• Activate the university's role in research and development to solve industrial problems. • Support innovators inside and outside the university to implement ideas and solutions for industrial problems and help them establish private companies or merge into larger entities. • Transfer and apply the results of research, studies, innovations, and inventions to the relevant application bodies in Matrouh Governorate first, then within the country. • Cooperate with various research bodies to reach joint solutions to industrial problems in the region.

Strategic Goals
  1. Stimulate research thinking and adopt creative ideas from within and outside the university community to achieve the vision of the university and the office.
  2. Confirm the concept of research serving industry and linking research and industrial institutions within the region.
  3. Consolidate the concepts of supporting innovation, technology transfer, intellectual property rights, and training on all their components.
  4. Promote the concept of entrepreneurship and train idea owners and innovators.
  5. Maximize the economic and social value through activities and outputs.
  6. Design and create databases of all technologies, knowledge, innovations, and patents available to the office's affiliated entities based on the survey conducted for this purpose, and classify this knowledge, innovations, and patents.
  7. Follow up on promotional and marketing activities for patents, innovations, and applied technical knowledge for beneficiaries.
  8. Prepare qualitative databases for applicable innovations and patents and link them to a database of end beneficiaries. Work on discovering new ideas, nurturing their owners, and providing the appropriate environment for them.
  9. Assist in developing prototypes and semi-industrial models.
  10. Support the effective and permanent link of scientific research to the needs of Egyptian society by providing research bodies with actual market needs in priority areas.
  11. Encourage entrepreneurship by creating investment opportunities based on local technologies.
  12. Support and stimulate innovation, technology transfer, and marketing at the implementing entity and industrial communities and unions located in the geographical area covered by the entity as a first priority.
  13. Support the research and technological needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises to raise their technological capabilities and meet their needs.
  14. Prepare economic and comparative studies to determine the economic feasibility of available technologies.
  15. Raise the capabilities and efficiency of human cadres working in the field of technology transfer through training programs at home and abroad.
  16. Periodic survey of global and local technology markets.
  17. Qualitative and quantitative evaluation of technologies.
