Unit Vision

Continuous development and improvement of human resources inside and outside the faculty through distinguished training courses, making them able to compete efficiently locally and regionally, in addition to preparing and following up on development and aligning their skills with labor market developments.

Unit Mission

In line with the mission of the faculty and university in community service and developing the capabilities of its members, and graduating students capable and qualified to compete to meet the various needs of the labor market, the Training and Development Unit is concerned with providing services aimed at developing and enhancing the competencies of various community parties and stakeholders inside or outside the faculty and university to meet the needs of society and the labor market.

Unit Goals
  1. Assist the faculty in particular and the university in general in fulfilling its mission, whether in teaching and training students or in preparing training programs aimed at increasing the faculty's competitiveness.
  2. Activate community service by providing training programs for community parties.
  3. Support and enhance the competitiveness of the faculty in all its specializations.
  4. Support continuous improvement and development by preparing training programs that keep pace with the technological, technical, and specialized requirements of the labor market, whether for students or for development to enhance job opportunities and refine their skills.
  5. Develop the skills of faculty members and assistants and improve their educational performance and scientific output.
  6. Develop the skills and capabilities of the faculty's human resources and improve their job performance.
  7. Build various communication channels to strengthen the relationship of graduates with their faculty and university and purposeful cooperation to serve development, the faculty, and the local community.
  8. Qualify graduate students by organizing advanced training programs that enhance job opportunities.
  9. Organize training courses needed by working graduates according to their desires and needs.
  10. Effective communication with tourism companies, hotels, restaurants, and industry leaders.
  11. Help tourism and hotel institutions looking for employees to easily reach the faculty's graduates.
  12. Hold the employment forum at the faculty and invite companies, hotels, and entities that can provide job or training opportunities for graduates.
  13. Any other new developments that the Board of Directors deems necessary to achieve the unit's objectives.
