Unit Vision

Develop and improve the services provided by the governorate and achieve excellence to realize sustainable development in the governorate. It also works to improve the quality of information provided to decision-makers, contributing to supporting anti-corruption efforts, achieving Egypt Vision 2030, and enhancing citizens' trust in the Egyptian state.

Unit Mission

Providing information to local administration to help quickly solve problems that may face the governorate, and solving them in a scientific way that achieves sustainable development in its three aspects economic, social, and environmental. The center works closely with various sectors of the governorate through the community service sector in colleges, aiming to achieve the goals of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2018–2022 and enabling local administration to provide innovative services that meet the expectations and desires of citizens.

Unit Goals
  1. Monitor phenomena and problems facing the governorate and propose scientific and practical solutions.
  2. Provide studies and consultations to relevant authorities in the governorate and decision-makers.
  3. Conduct research to provide documented information about problems.
  4. Provide research opportunities for assistants and faculty members to complete their academic studies.
  5. Establish strategic professional relationships between the university and various units affiliated with the governorate.
  6. Organize seminars and conferences in cooperation with scientific and non-scientific bodies, locally or abroad.
  7. Provide training, educational, and awareness services related to the community.
  8. Activate the center's role in serving social and community issues concerning women, the elderly, children, people with disabilities, and youth through its scientific and practical participation.
  9. Carry out any work or activity that monitors, analyzes, or solves problems.
  10. Prepare working papers and policies on community and social issues to be presented to decision-makers and policy makers.
